Our approach to CPD centres on recent research and data from educators.
When time is tight and there are so many tasks on the to do lists of educators everywhere, we knew we had to devise a CPD collection that allowed anyone to pinpoint learning that was exactly what they needed. From this, we developed two types of course to start our project and kickstart the motivation for those adults in schools who have put themselves and their development as a lower priority.
Altogether, our CPD collection provides a 'pick and mix' approach to learning, where you can dip in to what you need to satisfy your craving for self-development.

What's on the menu?
Full courses
Our full courses take key topics in education and teaching and deliver an in-depth learning experience that allows you to explore, understand and learn more about the area. The intention is that you will come away prepared to practise what you have taken from the course and feel confident in doing so.
Each course is made up of 12 units and covers an array of areas within the topic. Our course writers and facilitators devise the content with their experience and expertise at the forefront, ensuring it is relevant for the present-day schools and classrooms.
All of our full courses end with an assessment, from which a Certificate of Development can be earned, demonstrating you have completed the course and successfully applied what you have learnt.
Microlearning units
The best CPD works for those that are using it to learn and grow, which is why we have developed a structure to our courses that allows anyone to pinpoint exactly what they need to focus on.
Each of our full courses comprises of 12 microlearning units, which can be taken as individual learning opportunities. Instead of spending time working through units to get to the one you want, our approach makes it easy to skip to the part that will impact you the most. The quality of our microlearning units is the same as our full courses but offers a more targeted approach.
There are no assessments within our individual units, however a Certificate of Completion is earned once a learner has finished progressing through. This demonstrates that a learner has engaged with the learning.

Just like in schools and classrooms across the world, the way in which we learn and develop changes. Our approach to DevelopED CPD allows us to do the same and encourages us to devise and create new strategies and formats as we grow ourselves.
